Handwriting - Raw Thoughts

This folder contains unprocessed, stream-of-consciousness notes. These are raw captures meant to be refined later.

Purpose

• Brain dumps - Get thoughts out of your head quickly
• Meeting notes - Capture discussions in real-time
• Ideas - Record fleeting thoughts before they disappear
• Observations - Note interesting patterns or insights
• Questions - Capture curiosities as they arise

Workflow

1. Capture - Write freely without structure
2. Review - Periodically scan for valuable content
3. Process - Extract atomic notes into proper categories
4. Archive - Keep raw notes for reference

Processing Commands

# Process a handwritten note into atomic notes
mnemos process handwriting/2025-10-29-morning.md

# Review all unprocessed notes
mnemos review handwriting --unprocessed

Tips

• Don’t worry about format or structure
• Use whatever notation feels natural
• Include context (time, place, mood)
• Mark important bits with symbols (!!, ??, ->)
• Process within 24-48 hours for best results
